Wind 'er up and dump the clutch!
Paint a thin white strip the length of each axle shaft. Doing so allows you to
monitor the amount of twist or candycane of each axle. Remove and check axle often
with hard usage.
Or just wait for it to break.This mishap ALWAYS happens at a bad time!
